Weekly Write Up


The Titans erased a 12-6 halftime deficit to escape with a 21-12 win. Brolin Harrah and Travis Endicott each had TD runs in the final frame, while Aidan Lutz (2pt) and Brenden Gonzalez (1pt) each added conversions to make it a two score game. Endicott passed for 160 yards and a TD to Ethan Goldberg and Lutz added a game high 120 yards receiving. Blockers Colin McKenna, Robert Dixon, Dean Messer and Christian Knoos provided great protection all day. The defense came alive in the 2nd half and pitched a shutout led by tacklers Quinn Hale (11), Daniel Lyons (9), Chase Martin (7), Jonathan Abarzua (6), Connor Myers (5), and Harrah (5) with an interception. Defenders Justice Williams, Caleb Alvary, Will Halub, Bradley Hiete and Jacob Poley all made key plays to preserve the win. (Records: Titans 3-0, Roadrunners 1-1)WEEK 2


Thousand Oaks:
The Titans defense was as hot as the weather and didn't allow a point until the last play of the game as temperatures reached into the 100's. The defensive line of Daniel Lyons (6 tackles with a forced fumble), Connor Myers (5 tackles), Robert Dixon (4 tackles with a fumble recovery), Caleb Alvary (4 tackles) and Justice Williams (5 tackles) was especially active and as a group notched 6 tackles for a loss. Bradley Hiete (3 tackles) added an interception and Will Halub (6 tackles) recovered a fumble. Jacob Poley (7), Chase Martin (14), Brolin Harrah (9), Quinn Hale (4), Aidan Lutz (3) and Ethan Goldberg (9) were all efficient tacklers. Offensively the Titans dispersed the ball amongst 8 players to keep the Warriors off balance all game. Jonathan Abarzua finished with 166 all purpose yards with 3 TD's and a 2 point conversion to lead the way. Travis Endicott passed for 150 yards with a 15 yard TD strike to Hiete. Blockers Colin McKenna, Trevor Clothier, Christian Knoos and Brenden Gonzalez provided stellar pass protection giving up zero sacs on the day. Records: Titans 2-0, Warriors 0-2


Thousand Oaks:
The Raiders returned the opening kickoff for a TD. However, the Titans defense allowed only 6 yards of total offense until the 4th quarter en route to the 36-20 victory at Lancer Stadium. Brolin Harrah, Robert Dixon, Caleb Alvary, Daniel Lyons and Chase Martin all recorded tackles for loss and Harrah added an interception. Additionally, Bradley Hiete, Will Halub, Justice Williams, Dean Messer and Christian Knoos all made key stops. Offensively, Travis Endicott passed for 193 yards and 3 TD's with 3-2pt conversions and ran for another score. Jonathan Abarzua had 140 total yards and 2 TD's and a 2pt conversion. Alvary added 84 yards and a TD with a 2pt conversion. Quinn Hale added a TD run and Ethan Goldberg rounded out the scoring with a diving 2pt conversion. Harrah (40 yards), Aidan Lutz (30 yards), and Jacob Poley (20 yards) provided balance. Blockers Connor Myers, Colin McKenna, Trevor Clothier and Brenden Gonzalez did a great job against an aggressive Raider defense. Records: Titans 1-0, Raiders 0-1
